  • Who are We?

    We are WOS.A.T! Women Solidarity Association of Togo. We are a group of women from a beautiful West Africa country called Togo living in Illinois, United States. WO.S.A.T is Non for Profit Association originally created on November 11, 2007 by four (4) ladies with a vision to support one another. We received our NGO certificate from the City of Chicago,in March 2013. WOSAT! READY.

  • Our Mission

    The mission of WO.S.A.T is to empower our members, support one another to achieve success in our various endeavors, positively contribute to the welfare and development of our community, support youth and children back home in Togo.

  • To achieve this mission, members, recognize that we're first of all each other "brother's keeper" and ready to overcome all challenges to achieve our objectives.

Women Solidarity Association of Togo

WO.S.A.T is a non-profit organization that was originally created in 2011 by four ladies living in Chicago with the vision to come together as a group and be each other's keeper. Knowing that living abroad is still incomparable to be at home, the vision of the association is to promote togetherness, empower members to achieve excellence and help youth, children back in Togo by providsing them with assistance and supplies.

WO.S.A.T conduct its monthly meeting every fourth friday of the month. At the meeting, various issues are discussed pertaining to the mission and objectives of the group.

In 2014, has made it part of its mission to select at least 2 deprived localities in Togo to donate school supplies to kids and family and encourage them to attend schools. More information about this initiatives can be found on the News/Events page.

Under the leadership of the executive board members, lead by its president, WO.S.A.T has been very active in working with other associations in Chicago and has developed partnership with them with the sole objectives to promote unity, citizenry and african culture.
